This 1960s multi-storey office building needed an upgrade. The focus was to understand the problematic issues with the building that need to be addressed to meet the client’s requirements and propose strategies to enhance access and circulatio, improve the overall energy performance of the building, to ensure comfort and to meet legislative standards.
Alterations to the layout and building envelope were madethe most positive environmental way possible. A PHPP analysis was done on the old and retrofited building to compare the differences.
